A bargain: $2.3M against the $3.5M a player this good usually costs. 2 years left, which is what gives it weight.
This league's own model, not Madden's — EA publishes no trade value. It prices the contract as well as the player, because a team trading for him takes the number on too. How it works.

Going rate drawn from same position, any rating, what is paid from same position, ±5 OVR, same age group. Each group widens until it holds at least five players, so a small count means this profile is rare in the league and the figure deserves less weight. Annual value is total salary plus bonus over the length of the deal — not the cap hit, which Madden back-loads.

In the Chronicle
- Vol. 2, Issue 20 · Denver's perfect season is over. Tennessee, the seven seed at 8-9, wins 16-13 in Denver behind three Harrison Butker field goals and two Joey Bosa sacks, and the Broncos are held to their lowest point and yardage totals of the year. Arizona beats San Francisco by a point, Houston is outgained by 131 yards and wins anyway, and Philadelphia runs for 267 in a 41-3 rout. Eight teams remain, Cincinnati is the last unbeaten one, and the bracket reseeds for the divisional round.
